German DJ duo the Adana Twins were brought together by the power of good Turkish food and the love for grooving house music. Their deep house single “Strange” is monumental and samples vocals from The Doors, turning it into a late late night or early morning anthem depending on how hard you rage it. Max Greenhalgh has been delivering blissful indie-pop magic under the moniker Inspired And The Sleep for quite some time now. Off his forthcoming album, Teenager, he describes “Take Pills (Instructed Bliss)” as “sort of a sarcastic dedication to how our society, ravers, even myself functions mentally, socially, and physically through the use of pills. It was put together through a series of live recorded percussion loops, a drum machine setting from my toy Casio keyboard, flute, uke, and bass.” This San Diego lifeguard turned indie-pop genius has crushed it with this one. French music/fashion label innovators Kitsuné just released their newest compilation last week. Appropriately titled Kitsuné AMERICA, it features fresh new US artists such as Gigamesh, Oliver, Computer Magic, St. Lucia, Them Jeans, and the list goes on and on. There’s not much info out there on singer Drew Smith and producer Trevor Gureckis, aka My Great Ghost, but by judging from their first single this NY duo gets it. “Plain Sight” is obviously the product of experienced musicians. The layers upon layers of soft vocals and mellow instrumental work has left us itching to see what else these two have up their sleeve. Their self-title debut EP is set to drop July 10th.

Parisian dance pop duo, Total Warr, just released this smooth electro-jam as the first teaser off their upcoming Corbay EP, set to drop June 11th. Their ‘fuck you’ attitude and seemingly lax personas outside the studio only adds to the intrigue and magic of these two synthed out bliss-pop masterminds. “xxx HATE xxx” is the first single off their forthcoming EP and already available for free download via Stereogum.

Recently The Knocks have been busy releasing remixes for the likes of M83, Dragonette and more. The NYC duo is back with their new original single “Learn To Fly” and it’s everything we could’ve expected from them, and more. As usual, it features several genre’s rolled into one and the final product is a fun, feel-good record.
